About us
The Laboratory for the Development of Technical Talent (TechTalent-Lab) is a laboratory at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya dedicated to studying the intersection of people, data, and technology within organizations. It operates across three complementary areas: scientific research, corporate training, and strategic consulting. Its research focuses on two main lines: talent management and technology—covering people analytics, algorithmic talent management, and the transformation of work through artificial intelligence—and data visualization and storytelling in business and management, spanning everything from executive decision-making to stakeholder communication, university education, and scientific communication. Drawing on this evidence-based foundation, the Lab designs training programs and supports organizations in addressing talent-related challenges and making data-driven decisions, thereby bridging the gap between rigorous knowledge and management practice.
