Lego Serious Play for identifying the expectations of technical talent

Two Lego Serious Play workshops were to identify the expectations of architecture students (in the first workshop) and engineering students (in the second workshop) when looking for a job.

In the competitive project "Contextualized strategies for attracting technical talent for local governments in the Barcelona area" of the call "Research works of the School of Public Administration of Catalonia 2020" and coordinated by Dr Eva Gallardo-Gallardo, we conducted two workshops using the Lego Serious Play methodology.

The objective of the two workshops was to identify the expectations of architecture students (in the first workshop) and engineering students (in the second workshop) when looking for a job. A second objective was to assess how those expectations fit with their perceptions of what the public administration could offer them as an employer.

These workshops were two very dynamic workshops with a high level of participation and involvement on the part of the participants. Now it is time to analyse the data collected during the workshops. With this, we will see if there are differences between architecture and engineering students and how each fits in with what the public administration can offer them.
