Creation of the TechTalent-Lab

On November 14, 2019, the Department of Management of the UPC·BarcelonaTech created the Laboratory for the Development of Technical Talent, also called TechTalent-Lab.

The TechTalent-Lab is a unit of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya·BarcelonaTech (UPC) consisting of an interdisciplinary group of researchers and experts passionated about people management.

Its mission is to deepen the understanding of management-related issues regarding technical talent in organizations and translate this knowledge into practical solutions for companies. To achieve these goals, the TechTalent-Lab promotes the creation of scientific knowledge, the organization and provision of training and seminars, and the development of evidence-based solutions for practitioners.
