Speech at the ORP Internacional Conference

Professor Eva Gallardo-Gallardo made a speech as an invited speaker at the conference 'El enfoque de Empresa Saludable 5Z (ES) de la Fundación Internacional ORP'. Due to the current situation, the conference was held online on April 29, 2020. More than 4,000 of HR managers from Spain, Chile, Argentina and other countries assisted to the conference.

The speech of Prof. Gallardo-Gallardo, entitled 'En búsqueda de la excelencia: Consideraciones sobre la gestión de Talento', focused on the main dilemmas that top managers and HR departments have when they want to design and deploy strategic talent management policies. The main topics of discussion were what is meant by talent management, the different approaches to the concept of talent in business, and the problems that arise from a lack of adequate talent terminology in companies.
